The Foundation seeks strong and effective emergency services to provide quality fire protection and emergency services throughout San Diego County. It established this mission when first founded in 1989. The test of time proves that this mission is as relevant today as it was then.

Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine. Examples of God’s love is evident in Operation Heal Our Patriots program for wounded veterans and their spouses transforming lives and marriages at home while migrants from both sides of the American border are provided aid at transit centers once cleared by US Customs and Border Patrol.

VVSD has served all veterans since 1981 and is dedicated to “Leave No One Behind.” With five locations throughout San Diego County, VVSD is the only program of its kind in the United States and is nationally recognized as the leader in serving homeless military veterans. Each year VVSD provides services to more than 3,000 military veterans throughout the County of San Diego.

Médecins Sans Frontières, Doctors Without Borders, is an international humanitarian, medical, non-governmental organization, of French origin, best known for its projects in conflict zones and in countries affected by endemic diseases. Not only do they provide lifesaving medical humanitarian care but they also speak out about what they see and advocate change. Established in 1971, there are now medical projects in over 70 countries with headquarters currently operating out of 24 global locals.
